Who we are

RTM - Rede de Telecomunicações para o Mercado [Telecommunications Network for the Market] is the largest telecommunications service provider in the Brazilian financial industry, connecting about 500 institutions and over 30 information/service providers into a single operating environment. With customer service provided exclusively by expert staff, the Network manages data, voice and image services and offers a high level of security and a high availability rate through a private network. It creates user-specific solutions through its scope, specialization, and value-added products.

Due to the growing complexity of technology platforms, RTM invests in partnerships to offer applications in the SaaS (software as a service) model.

In addition, the RTM/Embratel Consortium is responsible for providing the management structure of RSFN, one of the networks of the Brazilian Payment System.

RTM was created in 1997 by the ANDIMA, now ANBIMA (Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Market Entities). In 1999, the CETIP, now called Organized Over-the-Counter Assets and Derivatives Market, joined the ANDIMA to use RTM to connect its users to the securities registration and trading systems.
